SNAG places great priority on offering a wide
range of professional opportunities. Many of these
opportunities require timely submission of application

Decorative Resurgence: This
exhibition will be held in the Rowan University Gallery in
Glassboro, NJ, April 20-May 29, 2009 -- coinciding with the
SNAG conference.

Juried Exhibition in Print
2009: Call for
Entries, “Saturated: Metal and Color,”
Jewelry and metalsmithing in which color plays a significant
conceptual or visual role. Jurors: Jamie Bennett,
Professor of Art, Metal Program, State University of New York
at New Paltz; Marilyn da Silva, Professor, Chair, Jewelry/Metal
Arts Program, California College of the Arts. Deadline December 5,

SNAG News Submissions: The next
deadline for submitting articles for SNAG News is December 15, 2008.
The issue is published online January 15, 2009.
Submissions should be sent to the editor.
Exhibition in
Motion V: Philadelphia Museum of Art. Curated by Gail M.
Brown. An exhibition in fashion show format, to be held
during the 2009 SNAG conference. At this time, we are working
with the Women’s Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of
Art and we hope to present the event at the art museum on one
evening during the conference (exact date and time TBA).

Student Exhibition
Held during the SNAG Conference, Loews Philadelphia
Hotel, Philadelphia, PA, May 20-23, 2009. A showcase of
the best student work from college and university metalsmithing
and jewelry programs across North America. Promotes innovation
and success in the next generation of metals and jewelry
artists. Presenting a full range of metal and jewelry work,
including traditional and non-traditional
