We are saddened to share the news that Seattle metalsmith Nancy Lee Worden passed away from ALS on February 17, 2021. Nancy was a long-time SNAG member and supporter.

Nancy’s jewelry art is known for weaving together personal narratives with current politics. She took her first jewelry class at Central Washington University and enrolled in their metal arts program headed by Ken Cory, earning a BFA in 1977. In 1980, she enrolled in the University of Georgia and studied under Gary Noffke. Nancy went on to work in retail jewelry and art galleries, organize exhibitions for other artists, and teach. Her work is represented in collections around the world.
