SNAG’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce Brienne Rosner as Managing Director beginning July 1st, 2021. Brienne is currently working with acting Managing Director, Kat Cole, to transition into the leadership role at SNAG. Please help us welcome her to the staff!
With 12 years of non-profit experience, Brienne is bringing her resourceful and energetic leadership to SNAG. As an engaged and committed advocate of the craft community, we are confident in her ability to take on the challenge of leading our organization into the next 50 years.
Brienne is an artist and administrator dedicated to nonprofit leadership in the field of craft, with a specific connection to jewelry and metalsmithing. She brings her background as the Gallery & Craft Fair Director at Peters Valley School of Craft, where she served twelve years in management positions. Brienne has a diversified, multifaceted skill set, with particular strength in artist and audience relations.
Brienne received a BFA (Painting) from Boston University and learned techniques in metalsmithing and various mediums through Craft Schools. She has exhibited her mixed media wall pieces and jewelry nationally, including at the Philadelphia Museum of Art Contemporary Craft Show, where, at the 40th Annual, she was awarded the Louise K. Binswanger Prize for Best Artist New to the Show. Residing in the mountains of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Brienne enjoys moments of fresh air, gardening, and cooking when she’s not in the office or studio.
