Liz Bucheit has been awarded a Scandinavian Folk Arts and Cultural Traditions in the Upper Midwest Fellowship to support her project, Silver Threads: Discovering Norwegian Sámi Silver. Ms. Bucheit will travel to Norway to research and study Sámi silver work and upon her return she will share her research with the Sámi Cultural Center of America in Duluth Minnesota. Liz Bucheit teaches Norwegian jewelry at the Vesterheim Folk School in Decorah, Iowa, and owns and operates Crown Trout Jewelers in Lanesboro, MN.

Adriana Radulescu had an exhibition titled Dwelling at the Jewelerswerk Galerie in Washington DC. Adriana Radulescu has a master’s degree in architecture and urban design from Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest, Romania, and metalsmith training from the Corcoran School of the Arts and Design in Washington DC. She has exhibited both nationally and internationally and is represented exclusively by Jewelers’Werk Galerie.
Don Friedlich will be presenting a lecture/demo on his new warm and cold approaches to working with dichroic glass at the Glass Art Society (GAS) conference. The conference will take place in Tacoma, WA in May, 2022.
