Susan Cummins has been named an Honorary Fellow by the American Craft Council. Katja Taporski’s exhibition “SpaceTime” was named one of American Craft Council’s top ten to see in 2017.

Pamela Ritchie is the winner of the 2017 Saidye Bronfman Award, part of the Canadian Governor General’s Awards in Visual and Media Arts. Read more about this and SNAG other member achievements.

Niki Grandics is the recipient of the 2016 Halstead Grant, recognizing jewelry design excellence and business strategy acumen amongst enterprising new jewelers. Read more member news in this week’s post.

American Craft Week has announced their 2016 Rising Stars which includes these SNAG members: Anna Johnson, Emily Shaffer, Alice Scott, Amber Harrison, and Cate Richards. Congratulations!

Tom Joyce’s sculpture “Thicket” has been installed at the Mint Museum Uptown. It is a seven-and-a-half-foot square block composed of stainless steel rods passing through cast iron hammer heads.
