Emily Banas
Emily Banas is the Assistant Curator of Decorative Arts and Design at the RISD Museum where she’s been working since 2015. Emily earned her MA in Decorative Arts, Design History, and Material Culture from the Bard Graduate Center in 2015, and her MA in Art History and Museum Studies, with a concentration in Decorative Arts and Design, from Georgetown University in 2012. Her interests span from 18th-century decorative arts to 21st-century craft and design, and everything in between.
