Lyndsay Rice

SNAG Board Candidate
Lyndsay Rice received an MFA from The University of Oregon in 2012 and a BFA from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, in 2006. Rice’s work was recently published, Author Magazines Beauty issue and SNAG Jams. A recent curatorial project, Reliant Object, was installed in Portland, Oregon, and is traveling to Calgary. Alberta.  In the Spring, her work will be exhibited at The Salon Révélations in Paris, France.

Statement of Interest:
Living and teaching in Canada, my experience will be helpful in many areas of the organization. I have a strong history of building community in academic and nonprofit organizations, ex: bringing visiting artists, workshops, and studio equipment to the university community. As a former volunteer in SNAG’s Eugene office, I offer a unique perspective on the organization’s internal functions and day-to-day needs. I have also worked as a goldsmith, gallerist, and curator. I bring all these experiences to the board and will utilize them to build the organization’s future.
