Submissions Guidelines
Metalsmith magazine is committed to opening eyes and minds to the wealth of creative expressions within the jewelry and metalsmithing field. Our readers are actively engaged in the field as makers, educators, curators, gallerists, art historians, collectors, and more. Accordingly, Metalsmith aims to be literate, thought provoking, engaging, and exploratory.
Metalsmith readily seeks submissions and values new voices and fresh ideas that represent the field’s breadth and depth. The content categories listed below are to serve as a sample of what we publish. Submissions need not be limited to these categories. We strongly encourage outside-the-box ideas and approaches and are open to proposals that do not fit neatly.
NOTE: If you are an artist looking to promote your work in Metalsmith, please view SNAG's advertising and membership pages for opportunities.
