Join Jeanie Pratt for this incredible in person only workshop learning how to weave metal! Jeanie is a master of developing, teaching, and creative ways to use weaving techniques in jewelry. In this class, you will be introduced to a variety of different patterns that can be achieved with weave structures that range from a simple over under plain weave to beautiful flowing undulating twill designs.

By using flattened wire, you will learn step-by-step the various patterns that can serve as the basis for pieces. Soldering and forming the woven sheets is also covered. In addtion to creating a set of samples, students will see how these weaving techniques can be incorporated into finished pieces of jewelry and utilize other skills they may have.

There are so many incredible ways to achieve different effects in weaving, including the weave pattern itself, combining different metals for contrast and varying the widths of the wire used in the weave structure.
