Students will gain knowledge of gemstone cutting and polishing techniques on cabochons. Grinding and polishing on different hardness of gemstone materials. Students will each have their own Genie Gem Maker unit from Diamond Pacific for the duration of the class. All gem materials will be furnished and included in the kit fee. Students may bring their own gemstone materials in slab form if they wish, but the kit fee still applies. All students are encouraged to take notes and or video all instruction to use later but we wish them not to share those videos.
BRING SAFETY GLASSES. JOHN SUPPLIES THE REST OF THE TOOLS. I HAVE AN APRON YOU CAN USE.
