Online Workshop: TAP AND DIE DEMYSTIFIED – THREADED CONNECTIONS FOR LARGE AND SMALL-SCALE JOINERY with JAN HARRELL

March 23 & 30, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm ET

Soldering or welding are the standard approaches to joining two metals. However, using heat destroys the temper of the metals and removes patiently applied patinas. Plastics, wood, and delicate found objects cannot be heated. By creating threaded holes in one metal object, the possibilities of what can embellish a design are multiplied. Using purchased micro fasteners- screws, washers, and nuts the process is streamlined.

This is a workshop for someone with soldering, sawing, and general metalworking skills.
