BSU Sabbatical Replacement (one year): Adjunct Faculty (part-time, non-benefit-eligible, temporary faculty position paid on a per-credit basis).
Starts August 2023. MFA required, teaching experience preferred. Desired qualifications: ability to teach a broad range of basic traditional jewelry/metalsmithing techniques AND demonstrated investigation of contemporary issues surrounding 3-D expression/object making. Responsibilities each semester: 2 sections ART 221 Intro Art Jewelry & Metalsmithing (AJ&M), and 1 section 300-level AJ&M (ART 306 Fall; ART 307 Spring) taught concurrently with 1 section ART 419 Studio in AJ&M. Salary $1201/credit = $10,809/semester (with possible option to teach an additional 2 credit workshop or UF course each semester).
