Instructor: Hannah Oatman
In this workshop, participants will focus on turning an existing object (including enameled pieces, found objects, unusually shaped stones, etc) into jewelry, from the initial design to the final jewelry piece. Through various setting demonstrations, you will learn how to incorporate these objects into your work using rivets, tabs, tap and die, and basic enclosed settings. Through sketching, demonstration and discussion, participants will create a simple jewelry piece using a newly-learned setting technique.
Tuition: $650
Materials Fee: $50
