The role of the Product Design & Development Intern will shadow all departments that support in the development of new products, such as Creative Design, CAD Design, and Product Fabrication to learn the full process of developing new jewelry for Stuller Inc, onsite in Lafayette, Louisiana. The internship will train in all areas of concept, CAD, and manufacturing as last from May 22nd- to July 28th 2023.
We are looking for a passionate student or recent graduate of a jewelry program to join our talented and diverse team!
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Work under the Creative Director’s guidance to create original design concepts for new jewelry development
Shadow the CAD Designers to understand the basics of CAD design
Contribute to team creative presentations
Organizational work assisting in design archive management
Spend time on a jeweler’s bench training in our Model department.
Requirements:
Have hand drawing ability
Possess basic bench skills
Knowledge of CAD
