May 21 & 28, 2022, 3:00 – 5:00 pm ET. Resin is a versatile material that allows color, transparency, bonding, coating and volume, among many other possibilities. In this workshop we will learn to handle epoxy resin without molds by using 2 different techniques: pouring on a flat surface and coating on fabric to create three-dimensional objects. We will intervene these volumes with different drawing and painting techniques to achieve depth, accents, and color effects. As a result, we will create pieces that will evolve into unexpected final forms. Students will develop several samples that can later be used separately or assembled altogether into one final project. Basic jewelry skills are not mandatory but desirable. To Register:
