In the “Amazon” series, I explore our collective values, crafting artworks from Amazon box paper pulp adorned with semi-precious stones and pure gold leaf. Unwittingly, online shopping contributes to deforestation, endangering ecosystems and depleting vital resources. “Amazon” prompts reflection on consumption patterns, revealing their impact on nature and the gap between our intentions and the actual outcomes of our actions.
Materials: Paper pulp made from Amazon boxes, paint, stainless steel, oxidised sterling silver, 24k gold leaf.
