Inspired by a classic button down shirt, this piece is very personal. It’s a reference to my deep love for my home state of California and my fascination with fashion. All of the featured, individually-made flowers are native to California’s Central Coast: Blackberry, Tidy Tip and Beach Primrose. This version of the Golden State Neckpiece began as a prototype. As it evolved from a concept to something tangible, it became a “final” piece in its own right.
