This ring is part of the Darricarrere Collection, inspired by the Dalle de Verre stained glass of Roger Darricarrere. I felt that jewellery in this collection should be made similarly to making Dalle de Verre. Where facetted glass is cast in concrete in a Dalle de Verre window, my creations are carved wax and then cast in silver to emulate the 3D textured windows Roger created. This ring has a textured finish like concrete & both exposed & inset gems akin to Roger’s colourful 3D window designs.
Materials: Sterling Silver, 24ct Gold Vermeil, 2.6ct Steel Blue Trilion cut Kunzite and two 4mm Trillion Cut Tanzanites
