It is a pair of earrings that I have created as a one-off to offer a definition of fine jewellery. I have deliberately mixed precious and non-precious materials. The focus is the mesh cones that are made from recycled industrial aluminium mesh and that I have set in bespoke silver cups like gemstones. I have added deliciously vibrant amethyst cabochon stones as accents to the overall design. They add colour and balance, contrasting in shape and texture with the rest of the earrings.
