I was intrigued by the positive shapes on the remnant sterling sheet after stamping circles for another project. I didn’t want to waste the sheet material in its as-formed, perfectly flat condition. Having made other wire bracelets with small circular beadlike inclusions I wanted to make another bracelet with more of the positive remnant but still implying the negative lost circles. The eye finishes them as the wire draws them together, as if they’re recovering and re-forming or evolving.
