Ossabaw Island , Georgia Tabby Pendant

The pendant was made by making a mold of the tabby on the wall of the slave/tenant structures on Ossabaw Island, Georgia. A wax was made from the mold, cast in sterling silver, and fabricated into a pendant with stones, (Sleeping Beauty turquoise, pearl, spiny oyster shell, and Moissanite). The bail on the pendant was made by molding a fossil crinoid (a waterlily stalk) and cast in silver.
