Through an intimate practice of layering, my artwork borrows from traditional practices in drawing to create sculptural and process-based jewelry enlivening our shared relationship with the environment. I am inclined toward the act of gathering and maximization. Building up line on top of line in sustainably-harvested beeswax and casting in recycled metals, I create miniatures, unruly botanical masses reaching up and overtaking pieces of history or the earth.
