Artist bio: In 2013, I started creating jewelry for my baby daughter. In 2015, I studied metalsmithing and jewelry at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) under the talented Kelly Jean Conroy, and took numerous classes at Metalwerx in Waltham, MA, in the following years.
Two of my necklaces won awards at Annual Juried Art Shows at the Plymouth Art Guild in 2016 and 2017.
I now live in Corning, NY and own a small home studio.
I have found my voice. My art is the exploration of light, all kinds of light: sunlight, candlelight, LED light, ambient light, etc. I study the play of light in my collection of small intricate lanterns, worn as lockets that hold a light source. This theme recurs in my menorah and my candle holder with gemstones.
