This series explores the familiar landscapes of a digital world superimposed on the foliage of rare tropical plant specimens. I investigate the connection between natural imagery and forms of technology that mediate our existence. Constructed of anodized Titanium, my work echoes the sleek devices that we depend on every day. In Pixel Leaf Brooch, I spliced together to anodized plates that I was disappointed with in an effort to embrace the glitch and imperfection in my work.
