I am a forager of beach stones. They have been a predominant voice in my work. This piece is my interpretation of traditional gem stone carving techniques, reimagined on a nontraditional gem of sandstone. This one of a kind, hand carved stone with a balled wire rivet stamen allows the flower to spin freely on its pedestal.
