Royal Reverie is a one-off statement pectoral necklace that I created for Greenwich (London) Old Naval College when it hosted the London Design Festival.
The brief was open to local artists, the only requirement was that it had to take inspiration from the ONCG historical buildings and grounds.
I took the radical approach to bring the 600-year old site into the 21st century by interpreting the fabulous wrought iron gates and using recycled industrial materials instead. All handmade by myself.
Materials: industrial aluminium, silicone rubber, cotton, dry porcelain, paint, magnets
