My past experiences have taught me that impulsive emotions can bring irreparable harm to close ones and oneself. Using the totems of the Chinese Miao ethnic group as patterns, as someone born in the region with the highest Miao population, I continually remind myself not to be controlled by negative emotions during the process of creating jewelry.
