Artist bio: I am a Toronto-based jewellery and craft artist born in 1985. I have a Bachelor of Art in Handcrafts and Master of Art in Art Research program from the University of Art in Tehran. I graduated from Jewellery Methods program of George Brown College in Toronto in April 2022. I’ve started my professional career of designing, crafting, and manufacturing of jewellery since 2007. And, I began to design and make craft jewellery professionally in Ontario after starting a small business in July 2019. As a jewellery designer, I participated in several fashion events in Asia, Europe, Canada since 2007. Two of my works have been accepted and published at the New Vernacular book by Metalaid during NYC Jewelry Week in 2019. I have also won several national and international awards, including the Nathan Hennick & Company Award in April 2022, the MAKECanada Design Challenge in October 2021, the Katharina Moller Award in April 2021, and Iron award from A’DESIGN AWARD & COMPETITION, Milan, Italy in 2018
