This cyanotype piece is about the impressions of memories and how they become shadows of themselves over time. Just as we change and grow, so do our memories until they become silhouettes of themselves, allowing us to give them new meaning.
I have used sentimental pieces of old jewelry and meaningful symbols relevant to those I have lost, but also that are iconic and available to the viewer for the projections of their own meaning.
