The HOPE

Artist bio: “If I could say it in words, there would be no reason to paint!” -Edward Hopper
This quote speaks from my heart, even for the verb “to paint”! It has been about 8 years since I got involved in the field of jewelry design in Iran after four years of going through my Mechanical Engineering degree. Unlike many people who might say they have always had the dream to be an artist, I did not. It’s just that I always searched for a way, way to communicate my emotions through a new language throughout the world, and eventually, I found jewelry as my language. As an international student and artist, while sketching the preliminary lines of a design, imagining the colors and stones that would perfectly match what I anticipate, and making curve by curve of jewelry artwork, I feel like I am figuratively painting my emotions that can speak more accurately than any language! Jewelry design has become my life, the hope that leads me to the life every day, and hope is resiliency.
