I combine hand fabrication and lost wax cast techniques, capturing depth and texture to create a tactile experience for the wearer. I forge all the mica I use directly from the earth and cast pieces using recycled sterling silver, as this is an important aspect to my practice. Both light and color are key focal points within the gemstones and minerals used, which I enhance through fabricating minimal sterling frames and lost wax cast settings.
