Two Blooms Brooch

Artist bio: Painting, drawing, and making has always consumed me. My day job was Flight Attendant. Beadweaving traveled well, providing a much-needed creative outlet for years and gathering beads from all my travels. At a point, I felt my work needed original metal findings, so I squeezed in metalsmithing classes. Learning the vastness of metalsmithing, I focused on what will complement my beadweaving. Now as a studio artist, my work focuses on floral imagery to remind wearers and viewers of our connection to nature, and our need for conscientious stewardship of our plant.
