Only posts announcing opportunities are allowed. The post must be written to benefit the potential recipients, not the one posting.
Each post must promote only one opportunity.
Each opportunity can be posted only one time. Plan the timing of your post strategically, making sure to give people enough time to respond.
All posts must be relevant to the fields of metalsmithing, jewelry, or design, and must fit within one of the allowable categories:
- Employment
- Internships
- Residencies
- Scholarships
- Grants
- Call for Entries (e.g., exhibitions, publications, craft shows, writing, curation)
- Workshops, Conferences, Symposia, Lectures
- Studio Space to Share or Rent
- Used Tools for Sale or Trade by individuals
- Exhibitions
- Books & DVDs
- Crowdfunding
Each post must be submitted with required contact information, for SNAG’s use only.
Each post must contain clear information and instructions for interested individuals, including deadlines specifying time zone if appropriate.
There is a maximum of 1,000 characters per post, unless the post upgrade is purchased, in which case the maximum is raised to 1,500.
Each post remains listed until the deadline passes, or it has been posted for 120 days, and then comes down automatically.
The following are not allowed and will be grounds for the immediate removal of a post:
- Regular, ongoing classes/programming at art centers, craft schools, colleges, etc.
- New tools for sale
- Obscenity or profanity
- Political activity of any type
SNAG reserves the right to deny or remove any post for any reason at any time, including but not limited to failure to adhere to the above policies and guidelines and the stated purpose being to promote opportunities in the fields of metalsmithing, jewelry, or design.
