Describe how the nominee fulfills the criteria for the IMPACT Award. Maximum 5000 characters.

I am writing to nominate myself for the SNAG Impact Award. As a contemporary jewelry artist from China, I am passionate about exploring and shaping jewelry materials. Currently, I operate my own studio in Atlanta, dedicated to opening its doors to anyone interested in the art of jewelry.

I am well aware of the challenges of exploring contemporary jewelry art in a relatively overlooked city. However, I firmly believe that through my efforts, I can increase Atlanta's inclusivity towards contemporary jewelry and contribute to the development of this niche field. My work emphasizes narrative, as I seek to convey emotions and stories through jewelry, drawing from my life experiences and the collision and exchange between Eastern and Western cultures.

I am committed to incorporating disappearing ancient Chinese crafts into my work, hoping to pass on these precious traditions to audiences and peers through my creations. I believe that my work is not only a form of artistic expression but also a means of cultural inheritance and exchange.

Winning the SNAG Impact Award would be a tremendous honor and encouragement for me. It would not only be recognition of my personal efforts but also inject more motivation and confidence into my future creative endeavors. I sincerely hope to receive this award and continue to contribute to the advancement of contemporary jewelry art.

Thank you for taking the time to read my nomination letter. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with SNAG in the future to contribute to the development of contemporary jewelry art.
