Celebrating ageing

Date of Creation: November 1, 2021

List of Materials: Sterling Silver, Glass, jade

Dimensions: 170 mm x 380mm x 30 mm

Photographer's Name: Max

Conceptual Statement: With each piece, I construct something unique and evocative that reflects the moments in everyday life. I am fascinated by the stories that happen in life. My inspiration mainly comes from personal experience and current social affairs. In this work, I used the weaving technique of glass to explore women being and women's making. In the process, I mainly focused on glass-making and silversmithing. The subject matter of each body of work determines the materials and the forms of the work. I aim to present Jewellery Art as a medium of communication that can blend narrative and critical thinking.
