Over the course of my career, I have honed my skills, learning from and alongside other artists. I have integrated the lessons these artists taught and carry forward their lineage as well. In July of 2011, I almost lost the two most important men in my life simultaneously, my father and my son. I spent four days in my son’s hospital room praying and thinking about life. These circumstances taught me the importance of my own vision. I learned I must bring my perspective to the world in the limited time I have to do that. My work tells the stories of all those who have touched my life, and it tells the story of how I have made my own way.

Bio
My art represents a continuum of an eon's old way of life. It is born from the resilience and determination of my ancestors, who sought to uphold and celebrate the beauty they perceived, as well as to imprint their own perspectives on creation. I see myself as the steward of this lineage and strive to impart beauty for my contemporaries.
