Blurred Memories

It frustrates me that I have only fragmented memories of my childhood and “Blurred Memories” depicts that loss. Hidden inside the round structure, is a small book that contains obscured images, segmented prints and handmade paper illustrating a glimpse into my past. I textured sterling silver to suggest the pages of a book, used mink from an antique hat that my mother wore and forged 18K gold for highlights. The round book is a reference to a historic theological German book bound in 1590.
