The piece was inspired by foil balloons I used to play with as a child. Because I miss my carefree childhood, my work always has a playful undertone and the narrative as a format to convey my stories. I chose aluminum as the main material to capture the light of balloons and pressed it to a dome shape to add more dimensions. And I lasered the pattern of my baby blanket on the top. In the center, I 3D printed the balloon bears and flowers representing my childhood toys. In the whole work, I express my nostalgia and yearning for the purity of my childhood with bright and highly saturated colors.
