The repetition and representation of iconic patterns has been my focus for some time. The five pointed star is certainly one of these. This ring is titled, “Dark Star” and is carved of African Blackwood on a rose engine lathe. It is gem set with a natural brown diamond in 18K/750 yellow gold and all is nestled in a guilloché engraved bezel that spans 1.5″.

I am primarily a goldsmith and jeweler, but also a gem cutter/carver as well as a guilloché engraver and ornamental wood turner. Integrating these disciplines harmoniously is the goal of my work.
