“Home Alone”. I created this piece during the shelter-in-place of 2020 and it’s all fabricated from 165 feet of hand mill rolled 1/8” silicon bronze rod. Each of the individual bronze pieces were TIG welded together to create a safe space for the birds nest and the solid bronze eggs have a beautiful vibrant blueish/green patina.

“Along with my entire body of work, they are my testament to the ultimate inspiration I feel when working with this extraordinary material. I am honored to be part of a long tradition of artists who have found a passion, through the heat, acrid smoke, grinding and brute force necessary to be a metalsmith.”
