A folded letter that looks like it could have been at the bottom of a purse for months has been carefully set in precious metals reflecting a difficult relationship with care and intimacy. We cannot read the whole letter but understand snippets of endearment which the viewer can relate to care and loss in their own personal history

Jennifer Moore is currently faculty at CCSF and College of Marin. Her work uses the format of historic jewelry and optical toys to explore the tension between perception and understanding and how that plays out in the physical space between bodies. Her work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally including Galerie Marzee, Netherlands
