This work was inspired by the idea, symbol, and artefact of the surgical mask, and by the polemical nature it acquired during the COVID-19 pandemic.

I am stimulated by the uniquely collaborative nature of jewelry. Makers, wearers, and viewers participate in and contribute to the impact and meaning of each piece. I love making things that tell stories and sharing those stories with others. My goal is to encourage participants to look beneath the surface and create their own meaning.
