This is a dendritic agate from India encased in a 22k gold bezel with 22k gold granulation. I was smitten with the pictorial aspect of Mother Earth’s creation and felt it warranted a classical picture frame. Suspended from the main piece is a golden sphene. I like using classical goldsmithing techniques in a contemporary setting thereby making ancient-oriented practices modern.
