This body of work investigates the human use of sight to understand our interpersonal relationships with one another. Drawing from historical and contemporary use of the lens to amplify and distort our sight as a way to speak about our limited understanding of one another. The devices incorporate both fabricated and cast components and powder coating.

Laurel Fulton is an artist and educator from the front range of Colorado who works in metal and images to speak to ideas surrounding human interaction and communication.
