These rings are part of my RE:structure collection of pieces inspired by a trip to the Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland in the Summer of 2022. I was awestruck by the scale and natural geometry of one of the wonders of the modern world. An ancient structure that looks spectacular from every angle!
The rings are a reflection of the varying scales of the monolith on the Causeway, but with an asymmetric slant. Each ring is made from recycled sterling silver (one features a sapphire in a 14ct gold setting) and can be worn, either way up and in some cases turned around to showcase different faces. One of the rings is also a ‘two-finger’ piece, affording the wearing more versatility.

Bio
I am a jewellery designer/maker creating sculptural and architectural forms using recycled silver, gold and ethically-sourced gemstones. I am particularly inspired by asymmetric geometric forms, and enjoy playing with challenging angular shapes to create wearable art jewellery pieces.
