Shibari Fascinator is a wearable sculpture for the head. Fashioned as a fascinator, copper wire is coiled and crocheted as veiled cocktail hat to provide the wearer with a veil of allure and protection. Patina was applied to emulate the appearance of black lace and rope with accents of pink ostrich feathers. The piece has separate functional pieces; individual components can also be worn together or separately: the base with veil as a decorative face covering, the comb as a hair ornament, and a knotted weave as a brooch.
