Morgan Calabrese creates sculptural objects inspired by architectural and industrial forms. She primarily works with copper and nickel silver using hollow construction techniques. Through the use of industrial materials such as glass, stone, or metal, her work references ideas of permanence. The organic textures that cover much of the surface of these structures simultaneously hint to an inevitable decay.
