Emily Pellini’s work can best be described as a combination of narrative, lines, and a lot of glitter. While pieces share concepts of trauma, family dysfunction, and shame, they are tied together in delicately lined patterns, illustration, and hand-lettered text. Restricting color pallette and unifying with shimmer and texture, Emily longs for viewers to see work as a collective; small shared memories and feelings decorating a surface to tell a story.

Emily Pellini is a Metalsmith, Enamelist, and illustrator from Kennett Square, PA. She has both her BFA from Millersville University and MFA from Ball State University in Metals, specializing in enameling. She is an educator of metals and enameling at several locations throughout the east coast and virtually.
