I work in series and the most recent jewelry collection, Flow of Time Series, is inspired by nature. I grew up in the Midwest amongst the rugged landscape of woodlands, hills, and cold water streams. My inspiration comes from an intimate bond to nature that started in my childhood. Over time, expressing nature and developing layered meanings associated with the natural world are themes, elements, and content I come back to time and time again. These inspirations bring me comfort and solace. An organic vision emerges that can be realistic or abstract, and on occasion holds both characteristics or borders on imaginary.

Linda is a visual artist and educator who designs and creates two and three dimensional works in metal and mixed media. She holds an MFA from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, and is a former Department Head at Worcester Center for Crafts, and a workshop and arts administrative leader.
