Founded in 1969, SNAG is a nonprofit educational organization with around 1800 members worldwide — comprising all aspects of contemporary metalsmithing.
No. SNAG’s founders chose this name for the venerated tradition of craftsmanship it stands for throughout Europe. SNAG’s membership has never been limited to goldsmithing alone. SNAG embraces artisans, educators, craftspersons and students working in all metals, multiple alternative materials, and different sizes and scale.

Call the SNAG office at 541-345-5689 to pay over the phone and to let us know you are having a problem. Or you can print this form to mail in with payment.
You can log in here with your email address and password. You set them up when you joined SNAG through the website. Be sure you are a current member. If your membership lapses you will lose access to the member pages.
Use your email address as your username. If you don't know your password, visit the lost password page and input the email associated with your SNAG account to retrieve your password. If this does not work, please contact SNAG with your information and we will assist you.
First, login to your account and then click “My Account.” There will be an option to change your password.
Policies
All check payments made to SNAG must be in U.S. dollars on a U.S. bank. We also accept credit cards.
Through this website, you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of SNAG. We have no control over the nature, content, and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
SNAG MEMBERSHIP & METALSMITH SUBSCRIPTION

If you paid your membership or magazine subscription through the SNAG website after mid-March, 2022: It is set to auto-renew annually. To make changes to this, go to the "Subscriptions" tab at "My Account".
Select "Cancel" to stop auto-renewal. Your membership or subscription will remain active until the expiration date.
Login and click “My Account” to update your information. You can also email info@snagmetalsmith.org or call the SNAG office at 541-345-5689.
Metalsmith publishes three times a year. Please allow time for your first issue to arrive in the mail; depending on when you signed up, it may be as long as 6 months before you receive an issue. Members, you will start to receive our Riveting News emails right away.
We will promptly replace missing issues if your claim is received within three months. Please email the SNAG office at info@snagmetalsmith.org or call 541-345-5689.
The expiration date appears on the mailing label of your Metalsmith magazine. Members can also find the expiration date in their record under My Account. Also, SNAG sends out several renewal notices by email and by mail.

Back-issues of some, but not all, Metalsmith are available for purchase. If you are a current member or digital subscriber you have access to all the digital magazine back-issues from 2011 onward.

Online Sales
Items purchased through SNAG’s online exhibitions and shop can be returned if a request is made within 14 days of receipt of the item.
Contact SNAG at info@snagmetalsmith.org to request a return and refund.
SNAG will provide the customer with a return shipping label that insures the item. The customer will be responsible for packing the item(s) in the original packaging to prevent damage during shipping. SNAG will issue a refund to the customer, less the return shipping cost, once the package is received and inspected. For exhibition pieces, if an item is deemed damaged unattributed to shipping, the artist will provide a repair cost that will be passed on to the customer.
